Helen Chang
Associate Director of Education and Professional Development
Helen is an experienced pharmacist and educationalist with expertise in learning design, workforce development and healthcare leadership. As the Associate Director of Education and Professional Development at the Royal College of Pharmacy, she leads the education and learning strategy, designing high-quality, flexible, inclusive and accessible learning for pharmacy students, foundation trainees, registered pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists across Great Britain and internationally. She has also led the development and delivery of several national programmes to support professional development, career progression and workforce capability.
Passionate about advancing the pharmacy profession, Helen is committed to improving patient care through education by creating innovative learning that equip pharmacists and their teams to meet the evolving needs of patients and the public.
Helen contributes to the quality and integrity of healthcare research as a member of a Health Research Authority Research Ethics Committee, and as a peer reviewer for two international scholarly journals and Pharmacy Research UK. She is additionally a Trustee of Alcohol Change UK, where she chairs the Impact, and Income Development Committee. She also serves on the UK Clinical Pharmacy Association's Quality Assurance Panel, improving the quality of clinical education.
